Puffin blows in from the cold

PINT-SIZED puffin Oona is definitely a survivor after being blown off course and landing in a garden over 100 miles from her sea home.
She was spotted in Hereford and taken to a vet by the concerned home owner. It is believed Oona was trying to make her way back to the cliffs of Skomer or Skokholm islands off Pembrokeshire, Wales - 110 miles away and a lot cooler than the currently baking mainland.
She was weak and underweight but vets are managing to nurture her back to health with care and a specialised food formula.
