PM ‘too weak’ to block China's mega-embassy

KEIR Starmer has been branded “too weak to stand up to China” amid fears he will allow a mega-embassy said to be a front for spying.The condemnation came after un-redacted papers revealed 208 secret rooms planned for the consulate in the former Royal Mint, including a chamber running alongside Britain’s most sensitive financial cables.
Former Home Secretary Priti Patel said: “These latest revelations are yet another reason to reject China’s sinister plan for a spy-hub super embassy in the heart of our capital.
“Keir Starmer is too weak to stand up to China and kowtows to Xi Jinping at every opportunity, even when it means putting Britain’s security at risk.
“Labour should put British interests first for once and throw out the proposal.”
Sir Keir is rumoured to be visiting China in the next few weeks and could give the OK beforehand to oil the cogs.
