Personalised care plans for young brain cancer patients

A BRAIN tumour study aims to boost the aftercare of young survivors so that they can enjoy a better quality, longer life.
For the first time, researchers are looking into how to assess personalised care for 15 to 39-year-olds after their life-saving surgery.
Manchester University and The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in the city will gather information from 100 survivors as part of their follow-up care with a questionnaire designed by 130 patients.
If this helps improve their experience, the plan is to roll it out at other hospitals.
