PECK PICKING UP THE PACE FOR BLADES
Daily Express
|February 04, 2026
SHEFFIELD UNITED battled to a 3-1 win against OXFORD last night to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
Goals from Sydie Peck, Andre Brooks and Chiedozie Ogbene saw the Blades recover from Myles Peart-Harris's early opener at Bramall Lane.
Oxford took the lead thanks to an awful bit of goalkeeping. U’s captain Cameron Brannagan unleashed a tame effort from distance at Michael Cooper who should have grasped the ball safely.
But on a cold, wet night, the Blades stopper pushed it into the path of Peart-Harris for a tap-in.
