Hopes of a home win are still alive after Ashes redemption
LAST Briton standing Cam Norrie gained some Ashes "redemption" by beating Australia's Jordan Thompson to reach the last eight at the Queen's Club Championships.
Yesterday's victory means the British No.1 is now only three wins away from claiming his first grass-court title.
Norrie saw Andy Murray lose to Aussie Alex de Minaur here on Tuesday before Pat Cummins' cricketers sealed a dramatic win at Edgbaston.
The world No.13 looked in danger of another home defeat against Thompson when he lost the first set, before finding his line and length to win 4-6 6-3 6-2.
