NHS midwife: I was forced out over my TikTok clips

A MIDWIFE has claimed she was forced from her job for being “sexual” while highlighting alleged maternity shortcomings using TikTok.
Lara Basini-Millar, whose posts gained 160,000 followers, had spent 21 years as a senior midwife at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
She also alleged bosses said she was “impersonating” being a midwife.
Ms Basini-Millar, 45 — who posts under the name midwifemillar — claimed a “clique” of midwives set up a WhatsApp group to criticise her clips and subjected her to a “witch hunt”.
