Netanyahu: My plan is 'best way to end war'

BENJAMIN Netanyahu tried to defend his plan to extend military action in Gaza, saying Israel “has no choice but to finish the job and complete the defeat of Hamas”.
Speaking in Jerusalem before an emergency meeting of the United Nations security council on Gaza, the Israeli prime minister said it was “the best way to end the war”.
He added: “Our goal is not to occupy Gaza, our goal is to free Gaza.”
