"My car's filling up with water, I'm gonna drown'...bravery awards for police officers who rescued driver

FRIGHTENING audio has been released of the moment a woman trapped in a sinking car dialled 999 screaming: "I'm floating down a river, my car's filling up with water - I'm gonna drown!"
Annie Nisbet called emergency services as her car became submerged in floodwater at Bow Brook in Drakes Broughton, Worcs, on April 25 last year.
Police officers rushed to the scene and formed a human chain to save Annie's life, moments before the car sank.
Sergeants Lee Baker and Shannon Murphy and Constable Tom Simmonds have now been honoured with Police Federation National Bravery Awards for their actions.
