Murder most fowl as nuisance peacocks are killed on estate

FED-UP residents have apparently starting killing peacocks after their estate came under siege from the dive-bombing birds
Known for their stunning plumage and loud call, they are not considered pests.
But while there used to be just three in Maryport, Cumbria - once based at a now-closed hotel-numbers grew to 30.
The feathered phalanx keep people awake at night, while damaging cars and homes.
They have also scratched a child and swooped from roofs to slam into moving vehicles.
