Movie director claims OceanGate cut corners

TITANIC film director James Cameron has claimed the team who built the submersible which imploded with the loss of five men "cut corners"

The Oscar winner has completed 33 dives in deep-sea vessels to view the wreck of the liner.
Early on he predicted Titan's implosion, calling the search a "prolonged nightmarish charade".
Cameron, 68, said the sub's owners, OceanGate, "didn't get certified because they knew they wouldn't pass".
He said: "I was very suspect of the technology that they were using I wouldn't have gotten in that sub." Mr Cameron said: "I knew that sub was sitting exactly underneath its last known depth and position.
