Plush Cooper's Chase - the setting for Richard Osman’s popular books — is based on 240-flat St George’s Park in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.
His mum Brenda has been a resident for 13 years and on his frequent visits, the author realised the location and characters would provide the perfect background for a mystery.
