Rory feat puts heat on Spieth

JORDAN Spieth has been surprised over the amount of Grand Slam chat of late - and knows Rory Mcllroy is to blame.

Mcllroy became just the sixth player in the modern era to win all four Majors when he finally triumphed at The Masters last month.

This week, Spieth has the chance to emulate him at the US PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.

Like Mcllroy, the American, 31, burst on to the scene as a youngster, winning The Masters and US Open in 2015 and finishing runner-up in the US PGA the same year before adding The Open to his collection two years later.

But while he is often able to escape discussion about completing the clean sweep, Mellroy’s achievement at Augusta has meant more attention than ever on his latest attempt at history.
