King's tribute as Holocaust survivor Lily dies aged 100

THE KING has led tributes to Holocaust survivor Lily Ebert for her "extraordinary resilience and courage" after her death at the age of 100.
Charles saluted the great-grandmother who "became an integral part of the fabric of our nation" and was praised as a "trailblazer for Holocaust education".
The monarch said yesterday: "It was with the greatest sadness that I heard this morning the news of Lily Ebert's death.
"As a survivor of the unmentionable horrors of the Holocaust, I am so proud she later found a home in Britain.
