JD stands in for his friend Kirk on podcast

US VICE president JD Vance hosted a special episode of Charlie Kirk's podcast yesterday, days after the conservative activist was shot dead.
More than 200,000 viewers heard Mr Vance describe the influencer as a "visionary" and "luminary".
He also said Kirk was "the smartest political operative I ever met".
Mr Vance, who counted Mr Kirk as a close friend and accompanied his casket on Air Force Two last week, announced his stand-in role in a social media post on Sunday.
