SUPERSUB Jango Baie rocketed up the hill to pinch the My Pension Expert Arkle Challenge Trophy at an emotionally-charged Cheltenham.
A stand-in for Nicky Henderson clubhouse member Sir Gino, the 5-1 chance appeared to be floundering behind duelling trio Majborough, L'Eau Du Sud and Only By Night.
Hampering his chances by colliding with the penultimate fence, reaching an in-running high of 329-1, victory appeared to be a hopeless task.
