'I'm tired of being trans' ...FBI scan shooter's manifesto for clues to killings

FBI agents last night pored over writings in which long-haired Westman — who was born a boy called Robert — wrote he wished he had “never brainwashed” himself.

The online “manifesto” was posted before the attacker opened fire at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Two children aged eight and 10 were shot dead in its pews. Of the 17 wounded, 14 were aged six to 15 and the rest were in their 80s.

Westman reportedly fired repeatedly through windows, using a rifle, shotgun and pistol all were legally bought recently, said police.

Investigators are now probing the shooter’s mental state in an attempt to find a motive for Wednesday's attack. Westman was later found dead from a self-inflicted shot nearby.

The manifesto, largely written in Russian, included the declaration: “I only keep [my long hair] because it is pretty much my last shred of being trans.

“I am tired of being trans. I wish I never brainwashed myself.”
