I spent time in Turkey recently, and while I was there I booked myself in for a traditional hammam experience.

Refreshed and rejuvenated, afterwards I felt incredible. And I realised something - it would be so easy to recreate it at home.
WHAT IS A HAMMAM?
A hammam, or Turkish bath, is a steam bath ritual hailing from the Middle East and North Africa dating back to the Roman and Byzantine eras. It involves a sequence of steam, exfoliation and massage with the aim of promoting physical and mental cleansing and relaxation. Fast forward to present day and it remains a popular spa treatment for those looking to unwind and refresh their skin.
