Hit pause on CD clearout

FLICKING through my old CDs a while back, I was surprised to come across a copy of Lily Allen’s debut album, released in 2006.
Surprised, that is, because I find Lily Allen immensely bothersome and was under the impression I always had.
“Js this actually mine?” I wondered, unable to believe there was ever a time when I'd have wanted to listen to this person warbling her nonsense at me for nearly 40 minutes.
On a happier note, I also came across CDs I'd forgotten I'd bought by bands I'd forgotten I'd liked, or had just plain forgotten. Those, plus a Dylan compilation a pal burnt for me (do people still “burn” stuff on to CDs?), in a kind but largely futile bid to convert me.
