'Electric' Antoine destined to star on big stage after flying start to the season
ANTOINE SEMENYO is destined to leave Bournemouth for one of the Premier League's big guns with a transfer just a "matter of time".
The Bournemouth winger is one of the hottest properties in the top flight this season with six goals and three assists in seven matches following his brace in Friday's 3-1 win against Fulham.
Only Erling Haaland has found the net more times than the 25-year-old, who rejected a move elsewhere in the summer despite holding talks with another Premier League club. Semenyo admitted he "didn't feel wanted" enough by the club in question to leave the Vitality Stadium and signed a new five-year contract.
It came at the same time as the Cherries lost several other big-name players such as Milos Kerkez, Dean Huijsen and Illia Zabarnyi to Liverpool, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
But according to his personal skills coach, Saul Isaksson-Hurst, Semenyo will soon be lighting up the Champions League to continue his meteoric rise from the sixth tier of English football.
"He's unbelievable," Isaksson-Hurst said.
