A HISTORIC homes restoration expert has admitted breaking planning laws at his £1.5million Grade II-listed farmhouse.
As a former council planning chairman, John Evetts thought he understood the rules protecting the nation's architectural past.
But he fell foul of them when it came to his own home.
The Landmark Trust consultant, 72, bought the 17th-century Costwolds stone property three years ago as a restoration project.
