Man charged with murdering 14-year-old schoolboy Daniel Anjorin
-

A MAN has been charged with murdering teenage boy Daniel Anjorin, described by his devastated family as a "wonderful child".
Marcus Aurelio Arduini Monzo, 36, was due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates' Court today.
Monzo, of dual Spanish-Brazilian nationality and from Newham, East London, also faces two counts of attempted murder and two of grievous bodily harm, plus charges of aggravated burglary and possession of a bladed article.

After Monzo was charged last night, Jaswant Narwal, the chief crown prosecutor for CPS London North, said: "Our thoughts remain firmly with the family of Daniel and all those who have been impacted by this horrific incident."
One neighbour in Hainault, East London, said yesterday that "wellloved" Daniel, 14, had been wearing headphones as he set off to walk to school so could not hear shouted warnings when a man went "on the rampage with a samurai sword" at 7am on Tuesday.
Daniel was a pupil at Bancroft's, the same school attended by murdered Nottingham student Grace O'Malley-Kumar.
His relatives said the loss of keen Arsenal fan Daniel "leaves a gaping wound in the family".
They told Sky News: "No family should have to go through what we are experiencing. Any family will understand it's an absolute tragedy."
After reportedly being stabbed, Daniel was left for dead. His mother Grace, 49, ran to the scene screaming and had to be held back by police with the suspect still at large.
