Winger warns rivals Toon have found their spark
ANTHONY GORDON has snapped back at Newcastle's critics after a thumping win against Union Saint-Gilloise.
Gordon slammed home two penalties in the Champions League on Wednesday night as the Magpies lifted spirits with a 4-0 thrashing in Brussels.
The England international is now eyeing three points on the domestic front this weekend as Newcastle welcome Nottingham Forest to St James’ Park.
Eddie Howe's side are 15th in the Premier League table after a poor run of form and Gordon admitted there have been some faults in Newcastle’ start to the season.
But the winger believes that things will pick up soon.
