Global investors finally turn back to UK equities market

GLOBAL investors have taken fright at Donald Trump’s trade wars and made a return to UK stocks.
British equities were the third most overweight sector this month behind utilities and banking stocks, Bank of America’s latest Global Fund Manager Survey has revealed.
Just a month ago the UK was rated as the least attractive market to invest in among fund managers, with 18% classing our shares as underweight, suggesting they have cut their exposure.
Now, investors are 4% overweight with UK stocks — only the second month since 2022 that this has been the case. They also made their highest allocation since June 2021.
