Pep admits fear over Champions League status
PEP GUARDIOLA admits failure to qualify for next season's Champions League would cause financial issues for Manchester City as he battles with their worst run in two decades.
But the manager is more concerned at the danger of the club disappearing from regular Champions League qualification, as happened with Manchester United and Liverpool in recent years.
The Premier League champions are seventh in the table and host Everton today after a run of 12 games in all competitions where they have won just once and lost nine times their worst sequence since the start of 2004.
