Fiancee's tribute to tragic ice star

THE fiancee of a star hockey player whose throat was slashed in a "freak accident" has paid tribute to her "sweet angel" - as police continue to investigate the incident.

Releasing her emotional tribute to Adam Johnson on Instagram, student Ryan Wolfe said: "My sweet, sweet Angel.
I'll miss you forever and love you always." The Nottingham Panthers player, previously a National Hockey League star in the US, suffered a cut to the neck from a skate during a collision with a Sheffield Steelers player on Saturday.
