Ten years after Willett, fellow son of Sheffield, Fitzpatrick dreaming of Masters glory
MATT FITZPATRICK still has areas of his game he wants to improve as he aims to follow in fellow Yorkshireman Danny Willett's footsteps and win the Masters.
The Sheffield-born world No.6 won the Valspar Championship with a clutch 72nd-hole birdie on Sunday, a week on from agonisingly missing out on the Players Championship after a closing bogey.
Fitzpatrick does not plan to play again competitively until teeing it up in the first round at Augusta on April 9.
Willett - born in Sheffield before developing his game at Rotherham Golf Club - won the Green Jacket a decade ago after a monumental collapse from Jordan Spieth.
