Elianne, 15, 'murdered as she tried to get teddy bear back'

A 17-YEAR-OLD boy appeared in court yesterday charged with murdering schoolgirl Elianne Andam after she tried to retrieve her friend's teddy bear
The court heard the stabbing - which involved a kitchen knife was connected to an arranged meeting between Elianne's friend and the teen before school began.
Magistrates heard the defendant stabbed Elianne, 15, after she tried to retrieve her pal's teddy bear from her friend's ex-boyfriend on Wednesday morning in Croydon, South-West London.
The 17-year-old spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth at Croydon Youth Court.
Remanded
Wearing spectacles and a grey prison issue tracksuit, the youth - who cannot be named for legal reasons was charged with murder and also with possessing a knife but did not enter a plea.
