Dowson says Saints are on road to redemption against Sarries

- Adam Hathaway

DUBLIN LESSON LEARNT

NORTHAMPTON director of rugby Phil Dowson says an Irish lesson will help his Saints march on for tomorrow's Premiership semi-final showdown with Saracens.

Dowson's side were schooled in the art of winning big games when they were beaten 20-17 in the Champions Cup last four by Leinster three weeks ago.

That day in Dublin, Saints committed the cardinal sin of letting the Irish province storm into a 20-3 lead and they were left agonisingly short after two scores of their own.

The clash with Saracens will be the last home game for Courtney Lawes and club captain Lewis Ludlam before they head to France. And Dowson is determined to give them a rousing send-off after taking the Leinster lessons on board.
