Rory and Rahm differ about state of game
Rory McIlroy believes Jon Rahm is wearing "rose-tinted glasses" after the Spanish star claimed that men's professional golf is currently in "a golden era".
Despite finding themselves on opposite sides of the PGA Tour-LIV Golf divide, McIlroy and Rahm will reunite on the DP World Tour at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic that starts today. The event is acting as a coming together of a sport that has been left split in recent years following the rise of the LIV circuit, and the PGA Tour's harsh stance against their new rivals.
Rahm, right, suggested the game finds itself in a strong position but McIlroy responded by saying: "Very rose-tinted glasses if you ask me.
