THE simple but oh so important words “I love you” are among the last things many people expect to hear from their father.
A poll found nearly three in 10 have never heard their dad utter the phrase.
Some 49% reckon their father would say he is “not good at emotional stuff”, with 35% agreeing he can be a bit buttoned up.
