KING CHARLES continued one of the most popular royal customs when he delivered his speech on Christmas Day - but he has now broken with tradition by revealing just how much hard work goes into making it.
A behind-the-scenes video was posted on the Royal Family's social media accounts yesterday, with a message saying they wanted to show the "incredible talent, creativity, and teamwork that brings The King's Christmas Broadcast to life".
It is the first time the nation has been given a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the preparations.
And while Charles - like his mother the late Queen Elizabeth - might make the 10-minute TV event look simple, the video reveals it is anything but easy.
