Crown's Claire: Rude director told me 'Start acting, darling'

CLAIRE Foy has revealed what she said is the worst thing that a director has ever said to her: "Start acting, darling." The award-winning actress claimed the "unkind" advice was shouted during rehearsals for her first TV role when she was aged just 23.
Claire now best known for playing a young Queen Elizabeth II in hit Netflix drama The Crown - said that the remark left her feeling "really bad".
