At English Heritage we're seeing this first hand, with our visitors and members telling us they’re planning their leisure time more carefully, weighing up how best to enjoy family activities and short breaks away.

With half-term now upon us, many families will be thinking about how to keep children entertained without stretching their budgets. Over the past month, English Heritage has partnered with the Express to give away thousands of free family passes — helping parents across the country enjoy days out together and embark on a well-earned adventure away from work and financial pressures.
