THE Coronation of King Charles on the BBC was the most-watched 2023 TV event, followed by the final season of crime drama Happy Valley.
A total of 12.8 million tuned in on Saturday, May 6, to see the crowning of Charles and Camilla at Westminster Abbey - with 3.3 million watching it on ITV.
The gripping, Yorkshire drama Happy Valley had an audience of 11.9 million-making it the most-watched gritty drama of the year.
