Fiona Price previews tonight's TV
-
I'M SO glad it’s Monday again and I do not say that often. In fact, the only other time was after mistakenly signing up to an alcohol-free yoga weekend.
But for the next few weeks I’m embracing Mondays like they’re Christmas Day, because they deliver a new episode of THE GUEST (BBC1, 9pm).
I’ve been in a state of nervous excitement all week since the first episode’s explosive cliffhanger, when Ria’s (Gabrielle Creevy) sexy date turned suddenly nasty and it ended violently at the bottom of her boss’s staircase. It was all so sudden and frightening and just what makes a drama must-see TV.
Tonight we visit the aftermath, when Ria’s boss Fran (Eve Myles) returns home, the cops arrive, Mike the date (Joseph Ollman) is taken away by medics and Ria is escorted to the police station.
