Clarets storm Palace to show survival fight
Daily Express
|February 12, 2026
SCOTT PARKER'S Burnley turned up late on and off the pitch before a sensational fightback earned them a first league win since October.
Nightmare traffic in south London delayed the arrival of the Clarets and kickoff was put back by 10 minutes.
Record signing Jorgen Strand Larsen then marked his home debut with his first two Palace goals, but Burnley, who had scored 13 goals in their previous 12 away games, netted three in seven chaotic minutes - including an own-goal in first-half injury time - to win.
