VIDEO footage of a newborn girl who died after her aristocratic mother went on the run in freezing conditions with her lover has been shown to a jury.

Wealthy Constance Marten, 36, and Mark Gordon, 49, deny the manslaughter of baby Victoria.

They were camping out in sub-zero temperatures after their four older children were taken into care.

A manhunt was launched after police discovered a placenta in the couple's burnt-out car on a motorway near Bolton on January 5 last year.

Three days later Marten and Gordon arrived by taxi in Newhaven in East Sussex and walked to the South Downs National Park where they camped in a flimsy canvas tent.
