Campaign to clear van-dwellers from city's picturesque parkland

A FUNDRAISING campaign has been launched by a community group in a fight to evict van dwellers from a leafy downland site.
Thousands of pounds have been raised by Protect the Downs amid a rise in people living in vehicles on Clifton Downs in Bristol.
The campaign was set up this year and has so far raised over £7,000.
It follows growing concerns from locals in recent months. The group has said it is raising money to help fund legal advice and potential action and hold decision-makers to account.
