Cameron in quest to end genetic killer

FORMER PM David Cameron is leading a research project that aims to find a cure for the rare genetic condition which killed his eldest son.
Ivan suffered from Ohtahara syndrome, a form of epilepsy characterised by seizures and developmental delays which left him disabled and unable to speak. He died aged six in 2009.
Heartbreak
Now the former Conservative leader is working with Oxford University to identify 40 new life-changing therapies for rare diseases over the next 10 years.
