Thief avoids prison after stealing car, cash and watches

- By Charlie Bradley

A BURGLAR nonchalantly cooked himself a pizza while carrying out a raid at a £1.5million manor house, a court heard.

Aaron Hammond's impromptu meal came as he made himself at home and also drank juice and coffee in between stealing cash and watches.

Police discovered the thief helped himself to food and left his jumper behind before speeding off in a stolen car, injuring the homeowner in the process. The victim said she felt "violated" and "unsafe" living in her home afterwards.
