Britain to face demands for £200bn slavery compensation

THE King and Sir Keir Starmer are set to face demands for the UK to pay £200billion compensation for the country's role in the slave trade.
Fifteen Caribbean nations agreed to table the sum as the pair attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in Samoa next week.
Mia Mottley, the Prime Minister of Barbados, has told the United Nations that reparations for slavery and colonialism should form part of a "global reset".
