Brian cuts loose after 75 years as a butcher

A BUTCHER who started in the trade aged just 10 has finally hung up his apron at 85.
Brian Burrell, 85, began as a Saturday boy in 1948 when rationing was still in force.
He went on to work at independent shops and meat factories Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire.
And he even worked as a butcher during his National Service, prepping meat for up to 600 troops at a time with the Army Catering Corps.
