Bowelbabe's hi-tech gift in health battle

A CUTTING-edge cancer treatment machine has been installed at a leading hospital thanks to an injection of cash from Dame Deborah James's cancer fund.
The new interventional radiology machine has been set up at The Royal Marsden, where she had care.
Her Bowelbabe fund donated £1million to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which used the funds for the new equipment and a refurbishment of the interventional radiology suite.
Radiology uses imaging techniques to treat cancer in a minimally invasive way and is used as an alternative to surgery.
Dame Deborah had interventional radiology. Hospital officials said the new machine will also support research.
