Boat blast hero couple: 'We heard screaming...the kind when you know it's serious'

POLICE have hailed the “heroic bravery” of a couple who saved four children and two adults after a boat exploded on a river.
Holidaymakers Josh and Hannah Lloyd-Hobbs leapt into the River Thames when the victims screamed that they could not swim.
Hannah, 34, and Josh, 35, from Rhayader, Mid-Wales, were walking with their dog near Lechlade, on the Wiltshire-Oxfordshire border, when the boat exploded on Saturday in a blast heard for miles.

Josh said: “It was an almighty bang, the kind where the air pressure around your head goes.
“We looked round and instantly heard the screaming on the boat - the kind where you know it’s serious.”
The couple sprinted to the bank to find the boat engulfed in flames and yelled at those on board to get off.
