Bethell inspired by 'electrifying' stint with Kohli

JACOB BETHELL believes he is a better player since his IPL stint alongside India great Virat Kohli.
Bethell boosted his prospects of reclaiming an England Test spot with a swashbuckling 82 in the 238-run ODI rout of the West Indies on Thursday.
It was his first England outing in three months, after a hamstring injury sidelined him for the Champions Trophy.
Bethell's IPL commitments also meant he missed last week's Test victory against Zimbabwe.
The 21-year-old all-rounder featured just twice for Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, he feels emboldened by the experience, having opened the batting both times with Kohli, who recently retired from Test duty.
