BROWSING the television schedules the other evening, though which other evening it was | cannot quite recall, | was startled to see how many films were on the agenda that included the word “love” in their titles.

The first one | noticed was called Lease On Love, which struck me as taking a rather pessimistic view of the subject. When searching for love, it seemed to me that one should opt for freehold rather than leasehold. Leases usually run out after some time while freeholds are far more likely to last until death us do part.
