American producing mini-series with pal Monica Lewinsky
AMANDA Knox is working with friend and ally Monica Lewinsky to produce a slick TV drama about her wrongful conviction for the murder of British student Meredith Kercher.
The pair will be executive producers of the as-yet untitled mini-series expected to be made for Disneyowned streaming service Hulu.
Monica, 50, found notoriety aged 22 as former US President Bill Clinton's mistress while she was a White House intern.
The scandal led to him being impeached for perjury and obstructing justice and cleared.
She went on to a career of activism and retold her story on her terms as a producer of the series Impeachment: American Crime Story, also on Hulu and BBC Two in 2021.
Monica mentioned the Knox production last year in an interview.
