Alvarez's harsh penalty prompts rule review

UEFA will review the double touch rule on penalty kicks after Atletico Madrid’s controversial Champions League exit.
But Real Madrid keeper Thibaut Courtois accused Atleti manager Diego Simeone of “always crying” and blamed their defeat on the Argentinian’s negative tactics. The penalty shoot-out turned when VAR ruled that Julian Alvarez had touched the ball twice when he beat Courtois from the spot.
