Abandoned baby Elsa is sister of two babies found in 2017 and 2019

A BABY girl found abandoned in a shopping bag in east London earlier this year has two siblings found in similar circumstances in 2017 and 2019, it can be reported.

A judge at East London Family Court ruled on Monday that restrictions could be changed to allow the publication of the link between the three children, after an application by the PA news agency and the BBC.

It comes after an infant - named Elsa by hospital staff was discovered by a dog walker in Newham on January 18 in freezing conditions.

DNA testing has since shown she has a brother and sister, known as Harry and Roman, who were also abandoned. The parents have yet to be identified with a Metropolitan Police investigation ongoing.

Judge Carol Atkinson ruled reporting restrictions should be lifted for the "openness of justice".

She said: "There is a clear public interest in reporting this story.
