150,000 deadly opioid pills found in factory

POLICE have seized Britain's biggest cache of synthetic opioids during a sting in which 11 suspects were arrested.
Around 150,000 tablets called Nitazene linked to overdose deaths in the US where they are also illegal were found in a factory making the pills.
Other class A and B drugs, a gun and pill-pressing machine, plus more than £60,000 in cash and £8,000 in cryptocurrency were also uncovered in the joint operation with border officials.
It is thought the drugs were being sold on the dark web.
The arrests were made between August 21 and last Tuesday and all the suspects have been charged with conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs.
